Congratulations! Having a baby is one of the most rewarding experiences in life. Brighton Hill Pediatrics shares in your joy and enthusiasm. We look forward to many years of providing care and support to you and your new family.
We offer expectant parents the opportunity to schedule a prenatal visit at our office with one of our providers. This visit will help you to become acquainted with us, find out where we are located, and ask questions regarding the birth of your baby and our practice.
Topics you might wish to discuss include infant feeding choices, circumcision for boys, and our approach to illness and immunizations.
Please call our office to schedule a prenatal visit. There is a charge of $25.00 for this visit. Also, when you call please have information available on the medical insurance the baby will have and check with our office to be sure that we participate with them.
Simply inform your obstetrician and the hospital staff that you wish Brighton Hill Pediatrics to be your baby’s pediatricians.
If you are delivering at Crouse Hospital one of our pediatricians will see your baby and talk with you each day in the hospital. Arrangements will be made for your baby’s first visit to our office – typically two to three days after being discharged from the hospital. We believe this early visit is essential to address feeding concerns, assess for jaundice and weight loss, and to answer the many questions that always arise with a newborn baby.
If you are delivering at one of the other area hospitals the baby will be taken care of by the staff pediatricians and we will see the baby for the first office visit - typically two to three days after discharge.
Remember, we are only a phone call away for prompt answers and advice!
New patients will not be seen without a parent or legal guardian present (with legal papers). In later visits, written permission is required if your child is accompanied by a non-legal guardian due to HIPAA regulations.
