November 16, 2022
RSV, Flu, COVID and other respiratory viruses typically cause upper respiratory tract or cold symptoms: cough, congestion, sore throat, fever, and malaise. For a few patients, most commonly younger children and babies, the virus can move into the lower respiratory tract and cause bronchiolitis. See this video to view what respiratory distress looks like in your baby. If your child is developing respiratory distress, please call our office immediately.
