Lauren Carlyle earned her BS in Biology from Bates College, her Masters in Public Health (MPH) from Boston University, and her MD from the University of Buffalo. She did her pediatric residency at Nationwide Children’s hospital in Columbus, Ohio where she then entered practice as a pediatrician and served as faculty member for the Department of Pediatrics at the Ohio State University College of Medicine. She is board certified, and has done additional training in the area of managing mental health concerns for children and adolescents. She returned to the Central New York area to practice, and most recently was a staff physician at Syracuse Community Health Center. Her personal interests include spending time with her husband and five children. She enjoys a variety of outdoor activities including camping, hiking, biking, and kayaking. She also enjoys traveling with past trips including destinations such as Egypt, Kenya, Tanzania, Turkey, and much of Western Europe.
